Planning a DIY Hunt: Part 3 – Strategies for Success
Welcome to Part 3 of our DIY hunt planning series. In this video, I share my unique approach to hunting in Iowa by combining public land strategies with freelance hunting tactics to successfully fill my coveted tag.
Despite never scouting the public land beforehand, I had my best encounters there, ultimately leading to the successful harvest of my buck. While some might think it’s a bit adventurous to rely on instincts when you finally draw a tag you’ve been eagerly waiting for, I didn’t have much choice due to the 16-hour distance from my home to the hunting grounds. I was there to hunt, not just enjoy the scenery!
Join me as I dive into my experience, showcasing how planning and adaptability can lead to amazing opportunities in the field. I encourage you to leave any questions in the comments section below!
