My First Deer Hunt of 2019: A Rainy Adventure
Join me as I recount my exciting first deer hunt of 2019! Despite the rainy weather, I was determined to get out in the woods and make the most of the day. Armed with my reliable Marlin 336 in .35 Remington, I braved the elements with confidence.
Thanks to my trusty Allen Hunting Umbrella, I stayed completely dry throughout the day. This essential piece of hunting gear is a game-changer for those rainy days in the field. I encountered three deer and spotted numerous squirrels, keeping my spirits up despite the wet conditions.
The experience was enhanced by my GoPro Rod/Gun Mount, which allowed me to capture all the action on video. It’s always thrilling to document the excitement of a hunt, and this setup made it so easy to film while maintaining focus on the task at hand.
Even in challenging weather, the thrill of deer hunting never diminishes. I love the serenity of nature, the anticipation of wildlife encounters, and the camaraderie of the outdoors. My .35 Remington performed beautifully, as expected, making it a joy to carry on this hunt.
In summary, this first deer hunt of 2019 was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, persistence, and the beauty of nature, rain and all. Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or a beginner, there’s nothing quite like experiencing a day in the woods. Don’t let a little rain stop you—grab your gear and get out there!
